Beautiful Weller Pottery Lamp in the Knifewood pattern that dates back to the late teens. It features colorful and nicely carved peacocks on two sides. Rudolf Lorber was the Weller designer who created this design. He intended it as a lamp from the beginning as the factory hole in the above photo suggests.  The pottery portion is 11 inches tall. From the top of the finial to the floor it's 26 inches.  One Weller expert has determined that this pattern when designed as a lamp is also called Selma. However, most Weller collectors are content to simply call it Knifewood. It's in excellent, superior condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
