Freeman-McFarlin Pottery
Company created a number of charming gold leaf animals and these
mischievous little chipmunks are among them. Their eyes, their smiles tug
at you and make you smile. On the belly of one is a Freeman McFarlin label
and on the foot of that same one is the signature of the artist/designer.
The signature is not legible but a good guess is that it is "Rutledge."
Some of the best designed creatures were done by Rutledge. The one
standing is about 5" tall. No chips, cracks or repairs.
