It's unusual to find a label on the Gort birds
but this one has one at the base on the left 
side. All Gort is marked. This one reads:
 "62-B Goldfinch By Jacob," dated '47.
Artist initials are not distinguishable but the
standard Gort logo is plenty visible. The
Gort logo contains the words "Bone China"
and the word "Gort." All Gort is bone china,
highly  glazed, a cut above ordinary pottery.
No  chips, cracks or repairs.  (item 2587)
