METLOX PESCADO COOKIE JAR

MAGNIFICENT, COLORFUL, SCARCE AND MINT

"PESCADO," Spanish for "fish." As one can see this Metlox pattern consists of bright and beautiful colors. It's a pattern that is extremely difficult to find. According to Carl Gibbs, Jr  in his book Collector's Encyclopedia of Metlox Potteries, there were only 10 items made in this pattern. More is the pity. It's a dinnerware pattern that deserves and  commands Artware prices, hand decorated and quality made. Pescado falls into the "late line dinnerware" pattern produced about 1988 & 1989 shortly before the pottery closed. This cookie jar is approximately 8" tall, including the lid, and about 11" long. No chips, cracks or repairs. (To Buy Click On The Red Square  .) To see other Metlox Pottery CLICK HERE!
