| In Greek mythology Pegasus was a winged horse whose main claim to fame was in delivering lightning bolts at the behest of Zeus, supreme ruler of Mount Olympus and god of thunder, lightning and rain. Artist Rutledge has here captured Pegasus as a young colt. Rutledge was a top flight artist for Freeman McFarlin and responsible for many outstanding animal designs. This gold leaf beauty is hardly ever seen and he's in great shape. He's 9" tall, 7" long from head to tale with a wing span of 5½." (Item 3479) To see other California pottery CLICK HERE! | |
