When Rookwood went out of
business in 1967 after having moved from Cincinnati to Starkville,
Mississippi, all their creative molds, designs, etc were in danger of
being bought by foreign companies. They were prevented from doing so when
a doctor living in Ohio bought them to keep those molds in the U.S.A. This
paperweight was created from the original mold and dated 1985. It's in
mint condition and comes with no chips, cracks or repairs.
