| These wonderful dark blue
Rookwood bookends are dated 1925. They were designed by William McDonald, one of Rookwood's major designers. Rooks are featured embracing a cluster of grapes. They are signed on the back with William McDonald's initials. The dark blue color adds a touch of mystery reminiscent of Poe's "The Raven."
