ROSEVILLE LUFFA FACTORY LAMP

As defined by Wikipedia, "Luffa, also spelled (and pronounced) loofa,  is a genus of tropical and subtropical vines classified in the cucumber (Cucurbitaceae) family."  Apparently, the Roseville artist-creators chose the vine, rather than the "cucumber like" loofa,  as their template for this original lamp. And nicely done it is. Luffa dates back to the 1930's and it still remains a much desired Roseville pattern. The wiring is new and to be over 80 years old this lamp is still in remarkable condition. Nice mold; no chips, no cracks, no repairs. To Buy Click On The Red Square . To see other Roseville Lamps CLICK HERE!
