STANGL WREN 3401 IMPRESSED MARK

The light tan color of this revised wren is a bit unusual. Most revised wrens are a dark brown. Color wise this wren is more like the "original" or "early" wren. They are about the same in height, 3." However, that is where the similarity stops. The base treatment and angle of the birds head, which is down, tell us this is the revised version. The head is up on the "early" wren and In addition the "early" wren is "plumper." For a visual comparison run your mouse over the impressed marks above.  Bottom line? The  revised version is a lot cuter and it comes with the best mold I have ever seen; excellent detail and the impressed mark is a major plus. It's condition commands a price higher than current book value. (Item 3401 imp).  To see other Stangl Birds CLICK HERE!
