The Weller Garden
Ware Pelican was designed originally in the 20's & 30's as an
outdoor garden ornament. Today, however, they receive much more respect
and are displayed as prize possessions indoors. This beauty is
19½" tall and roughly 17" at his base. From the condition of
this one, he was not outdoors long, if at all. He has wonderful eyes,
minimum crazing and great coloring. Not many of these are found and most
have major damage. This one had a minor ding on his toe and a chip on one
wing. Both have been professionally restored. It's simply marvelous
though not
